Quality healthcare shouldn’t be out of reach. As a mixed billing practice, Narellan Medical & Skin offers a combination of bulk billed and mixed billed appointments so we can look after as much of the Macarthur community as possible.
What is the difference between bulk billing and mixed billing?
Bulk billed appointments are fully covered by your Medicare rebate, which the doctor accepts as payment in full. You pay nothing out of pocket on the day.
With mixed billing, Medicare covers part of the cost and you pay a gap fee to make up the difference.
Bulk billing at our clinic is reserved for children under 15 with a valid Medicare card.
At Narellan Medical & Skin, bulk billing is applied to all children under 15, regardless of which practitioner they see.
How will I know if my appointment will be bulk or mixed billed?
Each of our doctors sets their own billing approach, some bulk bill across the board, others mix bill. Gap fees apply for anyone 16 and over. You’ll find each doctor’s billing method listed on their profile on the ‘Doctors’ page and on the appointment booking page. If anything’s still unclear, give us a call and we’ll talk it through.

After hours fees run from 1 pm Saturday.
Important Information
We know life happens, but missed appointments mean another patient couldn’t be seen in that slot. A $50 fee applies for no-shows to help us keep things fair for everyone.
Cancellations need at least two hours’ notice.
